GOT A QUESTION?
Frequently Asked Questions
What is mobile physiotherapy?
Mobile physiotherapy is exactly what you’d expect from a visit to a physiotherapy clinic, except the service comes to you. Whether it’s in your home, at your local gym, the pool, a park or even the beach, we tailor treatment to the environment that will help you achieve the best results.
Where do you provide mobile physiotherapy services?
We’re based on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, servicing the surrounding areas across the central, southern and northern Gold Coast, as far north as Logan and as far south as Northern NSW, including Tweed Heads, Banora Point and Murwillumbah, down to Ballina. We regularly support participants in Robina, Palm Beach, Currumbin Waters, Burleigh Heads, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport, Labrador, Runaway Bay, Coomera, Pimpama and Helensvale. For participants in more remote areas, we’re also happy to travel further to keep care accessible, and online telehealth consultations are available for anyone who prefers remote support.
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No referral is needed to book in with us. Just give our friendly team a call and we’ll help you get an appointment sorted, whatever your situation.
Is mobile physiotherapy covered by NDIS, Medicare or private health insurance?
Yes, many of our participants access mobile physiotherapy through NDIS funding, and services may also be eligible for private health fund rebates or Medicare support under an eligible care plan, depending on individual circumstances. Because funding varies from person to person, we recommend reaching out to our team directly so we can help confirm what’s available to you.
Will I see the same physiotherapist every time?
Yes. Continuity of care is one of the things we value most. You’ll be matched with a physio who gets to know you, your goals and your progress, and you’ll continue seeing them at every visit rather than starting over with someone new each time.
What happens at my first appointment?
Every participant starts with a conversation. Your physio will take the time to understand your situation, your goals and what a good outcome looks like for you, before carrying out a thorough assessment. From there, we build a personalised plan together, one that fits your body, your goals and your life.
Can physiotherapists diagnose conditions?
Yes. Physiotherapists are qualified, university-trained health professionals who can assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological and movement-related conditions. Where a presentation is complex or outside our scope, we work closely with your GP or specialist as part of a joined-up care team.

Ready to move better?
Whether you're recovering from injury, managing a neurological condition or looking to improve your mobility, we're here to meet you where you are with experienced, personalised care.
