Neurological conditions affect movement, balance, strength, and independence in ways that are deeply personal and often unpredictable. The right physiotherapy support can make a meaningful difference to how someone moves and functions in their daily life.

Blue Water Physio provides mobile neurological physiotherapy across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, bringing experienced care to where it is needed most.

What is neurological physiotherapy?

Neurological physiotherapy focuses on movement and physical function for people living with conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, or nervous system. It involves assessment, goal-setting, and exercise and movement programs designed around each person’s specific situation and capabilities.

Conditions we work with

Our physiotherapists have experience working with people living with:

  • Stroke and acquired brain injury
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Other neurological and complex conditions

How we deliver it

Physiotherapy for neurological conditions is delivered in your home or community setting, meaning your physio can observe and work with you in the environments where movement matters most.

We work closely with your GP, specialist, support coordinator, and other allied health professionals involved in your care. Referrals from neurologists, hospital discharge teams, and GPs are welcome.

We service clients across the Gold Coast including Robina, Southport, Broadbeach, Helensvale, and Coomera, and into Northern NSW including Murwillumbah, Ballina, and the Byron Shire.
